The Legendary Devil from Southern New Jersey
A newspaper from 1887 describes sightings of a winged creature, horned, with the head of a horse, walking on two legs in the pine forests of it's home. It is said to vocalize with a terrible blood-curdling scream. This version of the Jersey Devil (as imagined by Stephen Haynes) seems pretty chill though.
